My Success Story In The Last 365 Days As President Epe Club - Shabi
A seasoned Engineer turned president Epe club has revealed his success story in the last 365 days as president, Epe club stating that the club has been able to unite the people for future development.
Responding to questions from a newshunt, the easy going politician stressed the need for the entire people of Epe division to love one another and always see themselves as agent of positive change. Excerpts:
Q: 365days ago you emerged as the president of the club, what has been your success story?
A: in the last one year, Epe club has been able to unite sons and daughters of Epe Division and also emphasised the need for prominent sons of the soil to invest in their father land.
When we talk about Epe division, I am referring to Eredo, Agbowa, Ikosi, Lekki, Ilara, Ketu and Epe central and we need to speak with one voice and ensure that developments come into our division.
During the tenure of Alhaji Fowosere, the foundation laying of a new club house was made while construction works reached 45% and we have been able to continue the project while construction work have reached 80% and by the grace of God, the project will be commissioned in next couple of months and members will be able to have access to numerous social activities that will make them to have stress free day
In addition to that, the club has continued to protect the interest of its members. Recently, one of our members at the Lagos State University had some challenges and we were able to intervene and normalcy was restored.
A member of the club was appointed as the deputy vice chancellor of the newly established university of education in Mojuda.
The club will continue to forge ahead in all ramifications
Q: A lot of investment is coming into the Epe division, because of the airport, Lekki free trade zone among others. How do you intend to explore all the opportunities?
A: We are coming up with the Epe Economic summit and looking at ways at which we could explore these opportunities. We will be able to discuss issues concerning Epe Division in the area of security job creation, and see how we could explore these opportunities to the advantage of the people.
Q: What is your message to the people?
A: We should all see ourselves as our brother's keeper, love one another and always engage in activities that will enhance the potential of our domain. Well to do personalities should invest in their father land and create jobs for the youth with this Epe Division will be great again.
